That is so sad about the Aldi avocados! Like ThomasG, I priced matched mine at Walmart and they were large and ripened beautifully (which is not always the case with Walmart produce, so I was pleased).

Thanks to all for the heads up on the avocados.

I got some bad avocados at Aldi's during the last sale so I price matched at Walmart and had no problems
GOOD price on the fresh chicken thighs
Great deal on the grapes Nakabi .

Yes, sadly, I had the exact same experience (never ripened, then turned black inside) with my $0.49 avocados from Aldi's previous sale; very disappointing.

You might want to get an avocado or two first, then see if it's worth getting more later in the week. I picked up four the last time they were this cheap. They never ripened. Stayed hard as croquet balls, but when i cut into them they had started to turn black. I threw them out. I might invest in one at a time.

That is a super price on grapes, Nakabi! HT has them for .99/lb here in Raleigh this week so I'll be picking mine up there. And you can bet we will also be enjoying some avocados this week at that price!

Love Aldi!!! The prices here in TN are even cheaper! Grapes are .79/lb, peppers are $1.49! Definitely going to pick up some grapes to freeze and some avacadoes!!! YUM!
