I was able to get to Aldi's just prior to closing on Thursday evening. No balsamic vinegar :( I'll update when I hear from Aldi's Customer Service in Illinois.

JDouglas13 - If only I'd better placed my reminder note for re-purchase. Hopefully, it will be this grocery week since the Aldi ad features products from Italy and a variety of Priano products in particular. I sent an email to Aldi Customer Service to inquire of when to expect it in the Cary/Fuquay-Varina, NC stores and will share an update once received. Also, I hope to shop Aldi tomorrow or Friday and will let you know if I find any.

I've tried their tomato paste and thought it was very good. Great to know about the balsamic. EM2S, is there a certain time of year they get it in?

JDouglas13 - I agree! In shopping for best price, we've been pleased with the Aldi brand of products tried thus far - canned goods, frozen veggies and fruit bars, spices, baking goods including nuts, chocolate candies, deli-style pizzas, etc. Also, they have a nice organic selection including meats and produce. Annually, I watch the shelf for Priano Balsamic Vinegar of Modena - usually priced around $1.89 / 16.9 fl. oz. bottle. Would love to hear 'winners' you and your family find and would buy again.

$0.79 for a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes is a fabulous price! I will definitely have to try them. I have recently been very pleasantly surprised by the quality of some store brand items. And $0.69 for 8 oz of mushrooms? Crazy! :)
