nanny-I buy the frozen salmon all the time when it goes on sale and it's great! I also buy the chicken and love that price!
Going tomorrow to get several pineapples, strawberries, and mangoes! LOVE those prices!!!!

Nanny113 - I have bought the frozen salmon from Aldi and we thought it was good.

I may just buy some of the chicken breasts and give them a try. I do buy Sanderson Farms when it goes on sale at LF and Walmart has started to carry Sanderson Farms but they upped their price from $1.99 to $2.19 recently. Since I can get them everyday with my evic card for $1.99 I usually buy them when I need them at HT. Thanks for the input - PRIVILEGESREVOKED, CORBIN04, and TJ84. I will say that I have had some friends tell me the fish is really good from Aldi's. We don't each much fish but I want to get some salmon to get my hubby to give it a try.

Have had some of all types of meat from Aldi, have been pleased with all of them. The pork chops are usually so tender you can cut them with a fork. The boneless chicken thighs were very nice.

LOL - yes,. the pineapple .19 price was definitely a typo. I just changed the price to the correct $1.19.

This morning my husband asked me :Have you looked at WRAL? I asked why and he said: They have chicken breasts for $1.69/lb at Aldi's! Told him I had already bought them at Lowe's Foods and my freezer was full (due to super doubles). Aldi's chicken breast are injected with juice, where Lowe's Foods' Sanderson Farms chicken breast are not. If I make some room in my freezer, I still may buy a package if they have any left on Sunday when I would go!

Nanny - I buy my boneless/skinless at HT at the meat counter all the time, it's always $1.99/lb with your evic card :) I've never bought meat at Aldi's, usually I buy it at HT like you do, but always when it's on sale or discounted for quick sale.

Has anyone ever gotten the chicken at Aldi's? What about the Filet of Beef? I typically by my meats at HT or LF as I am a bit skeptical of Aldi's. Would love to hear opinions of others.
