kathryn21, this is Aldi's normal price for butter quarters. When this price was posted on the Aldi deals a few weeks ago I went to buy some and the tag at Aldi said "New Low Price". That was 4-5 wees ago and the price has stayed the same ever since. I already have about 4lb of butter in the freezer so I am not rushing to get more knowing that this price will be available for a while.

Butter freezes beautifully, kathryn21. I must have 20 lbs in my freezer right now. If I had an Aldi's anywhere near me that wouldn't cost me $15 in gas to get to (I live out in the sticks), I'd be buying more.

Faye~~do you know what their usual price of butter is? I have a pound and a half in the fridge, but wondering if I should go buy more and stock up! Can butter be frozen???
