ALDI deals 5/22: Strawberries, Vidalia onions, buns & more!

Aldi deals for the week include strawberries, Vidalia onions, buns, watermelon & more. The produce deals are a little slow this week, but the strawberries and onions are great buys!

These deals are valid 5/22 - 5/28.

Vidalia onions, 2 lb bag, .99

Strawberries, .99/lb

Sweet corn, 4 pack, $1.69

Blueberries, 1 pint, $1.99

Seedless or seeded watermelon, $3.49 each

Wednesday meat deals: Turkey tenderloin 30 oz or bacon cheddar beef patties 21.33, $5.99

Bun Length franks, 3 lb package, $2.99

Kirkwood chicken drumsticks or thighs, $1.19/lb

Parkview brats, 14 oz, $1.99

Kirkwood chicken breast, frozen, 48 oz, $6.49 ($2.16/lb – better deal at Lowes Foods and Food Lion this week)

Center cut pork chops, $2.79/lb

Ground beef, 80% lean, $2.79/lb

Pork baby back ribs, $2.99/lb

Marshmallows, 10 oz, .89

L’oven hamburger or hot dogs buns, 12 oz, .89

 

Aldi coupon, payment and store policies:

* ALDI does not accept manufacturer coupons

* You will need to bring your own bags to bag your groceries. They do not provide any.

* If you wish to use a grocery cart, you will need to deposit a quarter into the cart machine and you will get it back when you return the cart.

* They accept cash, debit and EBT cards as forms of payment. They do not accept credit cards or checks.

    FYI-The FL in FV did not have any of the 2 lb cartons of strawberries...and no indication anywhere that they should have had them. They had 1 lb containers that were not on sale.

    FYI - Food Lion has the 2 lb of strawberries on sale for $3.75. If you use the $2 off $5 Food Lion printable produce coupon I posted in the Food Lion deals post and buy another $1.25 worth of produce you might need, they end up being only $1.75 for a 2 lb package - cheaper than Aldi. I bought some last night at the FL in Cary on Tryon and Walnut and they were sweeter than the last ones I bought at Aldi.

    I had forgotten about that. Thanks! I might try to price match at Target insted since the WMs by my house have terrible service. I try not to go there.

    You can always pick up their flyer and price match at Walmart.

    I hope they still have some strawberries left when I go after work! I went the past 2 sales and the strawberries were gone by 5:15 on Wednesday and every subsequent trip.
