ALDI deals 2/27: Chicken, tomatoes, avocados, carrots & more!

The excellent produce buys at Aldi this week include roma tomatoes, baby carrots, mini sweet peppers, avocados and mangoes. You'll also find very good prices on chicken breast, salmon and more!

Weekly deals

Wednesday only meat deal: Fresh chicken breasts, 5 lb average weight package, $1.69/lb! – great price if these are boneless skinless breasts!

Roma tomatoes, 20 oz package, .99 – very good price

Sweet corn, 4-pack, $1.79

Baby carrots, 16 oz. package, .59 – great price

Mini sweet peppers, multicolored, 16 oz., $1.69 (wonder if these taste as sweet and delicious as the full size sweet red and orange peppers I bought from Aldi last week. My kids loved them!)

Avocados, .49 each – great price

Mangoes, .69 each – very good price

Chicken thighs, 3.5 lb package, $1.19/lb.

SeaQueen salmon, wild caught, 16 oz., $3.99 – very good price

Tilapia fillets, value pack, 32 oz, $5.49

Swai fillets, 32 oz, $5.49

Tilapia, 16 oz. $3.49

Ground sirloin, 90% lean, $3.59/lb

Tarter sauce or cocktail sauce, .99

Clancy’s tortilla chips, 13 oz, $1.19 (these are really good)

Mama Cozzi chicken fajita or taco pizza, $2.99

Aldi coupon, payment and store policies:

* ALDI does not accept manufacturer coupons

* You will need to bring your own bags to bag your groceries. They do not provide any.

* If you wish to use a grocery cart, you will need to deposit a quarter into the cart machine and you will get it back when you return the cart.

* They accept cash, debit and EBT cards as forms of payment. They do not accept credit cards or checks.

    Springtime-some Walmarts do and some don't. It depends on the store. The one on New Hope Church Rd and on New Bern doesn't. The ones in Wake Forest, Glenwood Ave do. Not sure of the others.

    So I was told by a friend that Walmart price matches. Will they price match produce with proof of an Aldi ad?

    One thing -

    Aldi's doesn't PROVIDE FREE bags. There are bags below counter level that you can purchase if you forget yours.
