scoutmom-they aren't the sweetest, but that doesn't seem to matter to my kids lol..I can't remember offhand, but I think they were $2.99 (.99/lb) if I remember correctly.

how were the clementines and how much were they? I love them and haven't gotten any recently.

That just is insane that people will spend that much on meat, IMHO at least lol...I picked up 4 cartons of strawberries, 4 bags of salmon (plan on getting 3 more at least before next week since we eat salmon almost on a weekly basis. Fixed some grilled salmon with broccoli & sofrito rice which my kids love and between the 3 of us we ate an entire pound!). Also got a bag of apples, a bag of clementines, & some M&M's for the hubby :) I'm telling you, Aldi makes a lot of money off of me and our fruit/produce consumption! But we balance it out since we don't buy "junk" food or proceesed foods and very rarely (6-7 times a year) eat out.

    sorry, I misread that. :)

Nakabi - it is per lb for the ribeye. Sorry I left that off. You can also check the ad online at when you want to verify a price from the ad.

I went to Walmart just a bit ago to price match the pineapple for .99, cantaloupe for .99 and gala apples for .99/lb (from Food Lion). I had no problem at the 40/42 store. The nice young man had never price-matched before but he figured it out.

Still wishing for an Aldi in the Garner/Clayton area.......

I would hope it isn't per pound. HT has it for 6.99 a pound this week.

packy-$7.99 just doesn't seem like a great deal to me. I'm planning on going today to get some of the salmon, so I'll check to see if it's per pound.

nakabi, surely so??? If not, I'm going!

    I love you Aldi!
Anyone know if that $7.99 for the ribeye is per pound? I sure hope not!
