BTW, we had the fillet of beef last night, sliced it up and cooked it like steak. It was good.

I've been using the aldi brand natural peanut butter, no complaints in my house so far.

I buy the cheaper brands for the dog as treats and in some bisquits I make for him, But my boys won't eat it, if there is no Jif they will consider Peter Pan and Skippy and they won't touch the natural kind I buy that you have to stir (but since I am the only one who eats that, it doesn't get bought very often).

chipper, I agree the last strawberries I bought at Aldi's were great.

smolder-we don't eat peanut butter all that much, so anytime there is going to be a PB Q in the paper, let me know if you want it and I'd be happy to mail it to you.

The last strawberries that I got were great. Think they were out of California.

scoutmom-We go through an insane amount of PB in our house, so we can't afford to be snobs. The only brand we have found completely unpalatable was Kroger reduced fat PB (I actually threw it away...which is something I never do). We've had no complaints with Jif, Skippy, Peter Pan, Food Lion, or Planters.

smolder, I am not sure about the peanut butter. My kids are PB snobs, they think the only PB is made by Jif.

How is the Aldi brand peanut butter? Is it comparable to any of the major brands?

Love those fruit prices! Chocolate covered strawberries, yumm!

Thanks Nakabi!
