My strawberries yesterday were from Plant City, Florida.

The Aldi by Southpoint didn't have the meat deal yesterday because the truck had not arrived yet! This happened last week with the multicolored peppers also so I would recommend calling ahead if you are going for specific deals at this store!

Thanks for the info yall! :)

couponclipper-it's what grafted said. the meat is listed as being wed only since sometimes they run out. if they do, than depending on the store manager he may let you get it for the same price later on in the week. some stores let you, some dont. the one on capital ( or is it louisburg rd?) doesn't, but the one on wake forest does. straitlover-the strawberries are usually from mexico, at least in the past I think they have been.

I think the meat sales last until they run out of it. Sometimes they get another truck with more later in the week and sometimes they don't. They advertise it as a Wednesday meat deal because that's when it comes in (usually - once in a while it doesn't make that truck) and it's first come, first served basically.

Could someone clarify something for me? I know that Faye posts every week about Aldi and their Wednesday ONLY meat deal...I just ran into my local Aldi here in Wilson to pick up some chicken breast and I scored a great deal. Someone behind me asked the cashier if they would still have the chicken on sale tomorrow and she told them that it would be on sale for the whole week like everything in the ad? Is this true or was she mistaken???

If anyone gets the strawberries, could you post if they are California or Mexico ones? I was going to get some at FL the other day when they were on sale, but they were all from Mexico. No thanks!

I agree Nakabi! I'll be price matching the fruit prices at Walmart this afternoon before I head to carpool. Love the cantaloupe price!

Great job Aldi! I'll definitely be stocking up on the chicken breast, strawberries, blueberries, & grapefruit! I eat a grapefruit almost every morning so I'm super excited about those!
