ALDI closing early on Monday

Aldi stores will be closing early on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29.

They will be open from 9 am – 6 pm. They are usually open until 8 pm.

Aldi has impressive buys this week on grapes, pineapple, cantaloupe, strawberries, watermelon, chicken thighs, ground beef, sirloin steak, cheese singles, buns, bottled water and more!

The Aldi payment and coupon policies are below the list of weekly deals.

Remember to bring your own bags and a quarter to get a grocery cart.

These deals are valid Wednesday, May 24 – Tuesday, May 30, 2017.

Aldi remodel project

According to their press release: "ALDI intends to remodel 12 stores in Raleigh-Durham and the surrounding metropolitan area, with a goal of completing all remodels by 2018. The new ALDI store look delivers on its customers’ desire for a modern and convenient shopping experience with a focus on fresh items, including more robust produce, dairy and bakery sections. Remodeled stores will also feature a modern design, open ceilings, natural lighting and environmentally-friendly building materials – such as recycled materials, energy-saving refrigeration and LED lighting."

Aldi coupon, payment and store policies:

* ALDI does not accept manufacturer coupons

* You will need to bring your own bags to bag your groceries. They do not provide any.

* If you wish to use a grocery cart, you will need to deposit a quarter into the cart machine and you will get it back when you return the cart.

* They accept cash, credit, debit and EBT cards as forms of payment. They do not accept checks.

    Thanks Faye! Not worried about any lack of 100% organic myself, but had heard it and wondered. Thought, if true, that prices might be going up to reflect that!! I've already noticed an increase since they remodeled and streamlined their stores recently.

    luvstoQ - I have not heard that they are only going to carry organic produce but their goal os that 90% of the food products they carry in the store are free from synthetic colors, partially hydrogenated oils and added MSG.

    Faye, just a question - was told today by a friend that Aldi's is going all organic..(I assume, meaning fresh produce)
    Is this true - have you heard anything??
