No need to include this Mugshot, I knew Marcus and he was a kind upstanding young man. Just trying to find his way. I hope they find who did this, such a waste of potential. THIS NEEDS TO STOP.

Marcus was my sisters boyfriend. He was a very upstanding man and very respectful. He will be truly missed.
WRAL... Please correct your article. Marcus was 24 and not 34. He also passed last night and not this morning. His family and my sister are having a tough time already. Let's honor him properly.
And how can we submit a picture besides his mugshot??!

God bless his family. So sad. May his soul rise to heaven above and may our Heavenly Father give his family strength to handle the days to come. Senseless death

    Dear WRAL,
The correct location is Paint Rock and PINE BARREN and the victim was 24 years old.

    Thank you.....

P.S. My daughter lives a couple of houses from where this happened and I have to say, this is a quiet neighborhood. Until I come over for the family gatherings, of course. Crime can happen ANYWHERE. Even at the quiet church in the hills in the most ruralist, I made that up I think, areas on the planet.

    Happy Tuesday Friday!!!!!!
