RALEIGH, N.C. — An improper lane change caused a chain reaction Wednesday night that led to a crash and a traffic mess near Durham, according to authorities.
Three vehicles wrecked at about 8:30 p.m. on Interstate 40 westbound near Page Road.
All four lanes were closed for about 40 minutes while crews cleared the wreckage.
One person was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details were available.
