Aberdeen authorities are investigating a case in which a man was hit by a car Sunday evening.

Investigators said the man, a guest at a local hotel, was crossing U.S. Highway 1 after 8 p.m. when he was hit.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he was being treated.
His identity had not been released as of Sunday night, and the case remains under investigation.
