A Random Act of Kindness happened to me!

Random act of Kindness stamps

A lovely stranger helped me out the other day and it really made my day.

I had 2 more Christmas cards to mail a couple days ago and I had been to a couple stores and they did not have stamps. The post office was already closed so I could not get them there. I went to one of the local drug stores and they sold stamps but charged almost double the price. I was in a rush and only needed a couple so I was just going to get them because I was out of time.

A lovely lady who was in the store heard my conversation with the cashier and reached in to her purse and pulled out 2 stamps and gave them to me. I reached to get my wallet to pay her for them and she insisted on giving them to me. I tried to give her money and she just would not take it.

She wished me a Merry Christmas and went on her way.

Wasn't that so sweet?!

Her generosity and kindness really touched me and I will be paying it forward very soon.

Have you randomly helped someone out lately or had someone surprise you with an act of kindness?

Wow Faye your story is almost like mine!!!! So I went to Food Lion the other day on my lunch break and I asked the cashier if they sold stamps and she said yes but only by the book so I said ok I'll take a book. She charged me for the book and then come to find out.......no stamps!!!! She informed me that I had to go to customer service to get a refund so I did. Well the customer service manager was also unaware that they were out of stamps. She processed my refund and before I left she asked me how many I needed I told her just 4........she asked me to hold on and came back with 6 and apologized for the inconvenience!!!! I'm really starting to love food lion. I tried to give her the money for the stamps and she refused to take it. I will be paying it forward too......next week someone in the drive thru behind me will have a free breakfast ;)
