Justin Roberts is back in the Triangle on Saturday. The Grammy-nominated performer for kids and their adults will play two hour-long shows at The ArtsCenter in Carrboro.

In honor of his return to the Triangle and Halloween, let me present his song "Trick or Treat." I captured a few seconds of the song at one of his shows in Carrboro in 2010 just before he released Jungle Gym, the album that it's on.

But OWTK.com captured the whole song when Roberts and his band played it at a Grammy concert last year when Jungle Gym was nominated for the award. And, yes, my kids and I will definitely be singing this song at the top of our lungs more than once in the next couple of days.

OWTK, by the way, has great mix of Halloween music for kids as part of its monthly free podcast, including Roberts, Gustafer Yellowgold (another favorite of mine), and Secret Agent 23 Skidoo, (formerly, I believe) of Asheville.

Happy Halloween!
