*Do not clean your air conditioner's condenser coil without disconnecting the air conditioner from the power source first.
*Avoid putting your air conditioner in direct sunlight, especially on the south side of the house. Keeping the air conditioner in direct sunlight (the hottest place on the property) makes the unit work harder. For a more efficient air conditioner, place it in a shady spot.
