— A 33-year-old Wendell man was arrested Tuesday for shooting a man three times, including once in the face.

Labrian Antwan Lynch, of 7500 Golden Brook St., was jailed under a $750,000 bond, on charges of attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.

He’s accused of shooting Robert Paul Case in the chin, chest and right arm Monday night.

The two men were arguing inside Lynch's home when shots were fired, the Wake County Sheriff's Office said.

Lynch left the scene before deputies arrived, and Raleigh police later found his car near a Denny's Restaurant on Wake Forest Road.

He was arrested at a nearby Extended Stay America Motel, deputies said.

The firearm charge stems from a 1998 robbery conviction in which Lynch spent five years in prison.

Well this calls for more restrictive gun control laws. Obviously these laws work well as evidenced by the fact the shooter here was a convicted felon and there is a law prohibiting him from having a gun. Sarcasm off.

If we follow this case we will see him plead to a lesser charge and the firearm possession by felon will be dismissed as are most of them.

People, there are more than enough "gun control" laws already on the books, the problem is that they are NOT enforced.
