Pittsboro, N.C. — The Chatham County Sheriff's Office arrested two Chapel Hill men Tuesday afternoon in connection with the slaying of a Siler City woman.
The body of Daphne Forster, 38, was found Oct. 10 along Chicken Bridge Road in northern Chatham County. Her car, a blue 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier, was found outside a Durham hotel early Monday.
Brian Keith Whitfield, 24, and Caleb Shaddie Wyland, 25, both of 3400 Carl Durham Road, were each charged with first-degree murder. Additional charges are expected.
