Carolina Popcorn Shoppe is located at 5655 Western Blvd. in Raleigh.

— Another new spot to grab some grub in downtown Raleigh.

Garland has officially opened its window for business. The dining room still isn't ready, but you can swing by their window Tuesday through Saturday starting at 6 p.m. to get some of this Indian-inspired cuisine. They did a few test runs that were quite tasty!

Carolina Popcorn Shoppe off of Western Boulevard in Raleigh has launched a new product - flash frozen ice cream! The base is made in house using local ingredients and no egg. Then, liquid nitrogen is used right there on-site to flash freeze it. It is a really cool process! The ice cream is pretty great too! I sampled their caramel ice cream topped with salted nuts - creating a salted caramel flavor. Very yummy! The shop plans to use their portable cart for catering events and will offer the ice cream in shop as well. Can't wait to sample their mint chocolate chip. The shop is also planning some new popcorn flavors, including caramelized bacon!

Sip Wine and Coffee Bistro in Holly Springs has delayed its opening. They were supposed to open last weekend but were delayed due to permits, according to their Facebook. In addition to coffee and wine, they will be serving breakfast sandwiches, waffles and small plates for lunch.

Corbett's Burger and Soda Bar in Cary is getting closer to opening. According to their Facebook page, they are looking at maybe opening in the next two weeks.

Randy's NY Style Pizza officially opened its latest location off of Lake Boone Trial in Raleigh this week, according to their Facebook page.

Our friend Triangle Food Guy is reporting that Unwine'd on Chatham Street in Cary is under new ownership and will be changing its name to Unvined. It is expected to open this month and will serve wine and tapas.
