Raleigh, N.C. — Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus is known for high-flying acts, clowns and, of course, animals.
Their latest show "Dragons" is playing the PNC Arena through Sunday. Tickets start at $15.
Ringling Bros. animal trainer Alexander Lacey works with lions and tigers on a daily basis. He did a demonstration on Thursday for a group of North Carolina State University veterinary students. We were able to sit in.
Lacey, a native of Nottingham, England, grew up around big cats. His parents owned a zoo and his family has raised more than 11 generations of lions and nine generations of tigers.
Find out more about Lacey and how he avoids being eaten in our video package.
