Raleigh Little Theatre, founded in 1936, is now one of the oldest continuously operating community theatres in the country. RLT offers entertainment, performances and community programs year-round. The threatre produces 11 productions annually and also has youth and adult theatre education classes.

I went to the preview of Spring Awakening last night. It was rapid fire heart wrenching subject matter so relevant in today's troubling times and increasingly uncertain futures. If you fail in school, do you fail in life? Add to that teen pregnancy, abortion, unsupportive-abusive parents or worse. Corrupt inept authority figures, missed opportunities, despair, suicide, shattered lives. All presented by an enormously talented cast.
