RALEIGH, N.C. — It only happens once a month, but First Friday is a great way to see and experience downtown Raleigh. The next First Friday event is Nov. 7.

Events run from 6-9 p.m., unless otherwise noted, and involve tons of galleries, restaurants and other venues in downtown Raleigh.

All places participating in First Friday will have flags outside.

Our Best Bets for this month's First Friday:
Stop by High Cotton and vote for your favorite paisley design. Eight finalists in the Second Second Annual High Cotton Collegiate Design Competition were chosen and their designs will be showcased at the store. The winner's design will become a bow tie in High Cotton's spring line.
North Street Beer Station will have a night of homebrew samples, a featured artist and $4 craft drafts. Feel free to bring your dog and a meal from nearby restaurants.
Enjoy a Friday Night Out at Feelgoodz. There will be hair styling, chair massages, makeup and manicures for a relaxing evening. The event is free, but tips are encouraged.

There are so many more First Friday events, we had to make a list of them all. Browse through the listings below:
