Hi-Wattage Booking // Orange Amplifiers // Monster Energy presents: MOTHERSHIP - "HIGH STRANGENESS" U.S. Tour 2017 A supersonic intergalactic heavy rock trio based out of Dallas, Texas, Mothership gives a real sense of hope that all is well in the universe, and that pure honest rock and roll has once again returned to this planet on a mission to unite true believers. Consisting of brothers Kyle Juett on bass/lead vocals, Kelley Juett on guitar/vocals, and Judge Smith on drums, these guys have created a unique sound that satisfies like a steaming hot stew of UFO and Iron Maiden, blended with the southern swagger of Molly Hatchet and ZZ Top, paired with a deadly chalice of Black Sabbath. Motherships goal from the beginning has been to carry on the tradition of the classic rock style of the 70s, updated and amped up for the modern day. The band has been non-stop road warriors since the release of their debut album in February 2013 on Ripple Music successfully invading the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Europe playing either on festival stages, night clubs, or outdoors under the sun at motorcycle parties. This heavy rock juggernaut has only just begun their tear across the universal cosmos and have no plans of ever slowing down. Do not miss your chance to TRIP ON THE SHIP. Freedom Hawk - heavy riffs and rolling grooves from the barrier dunes of Virginia. The trios brand of heavy rock capitalizes on the best of the heavy 70s with a modern fuzzy take. Demon Eye - Raleigh cats crankin' out heavy grooves and rhythms that channel the doom and crush of Black Sabbath and Pentagram along with the fist-banging shred of early Maiden. Bedowyn - down-tuned heaviness from Raleighwood. It's classic metal that revels in the gruff thunder of doom and death with the pace of thrash and the hooks of hard rock. live at The Maywood Friday April 28, 2017 658 Maywood Avenue - Raleigh, NC 8p doors, 8:30p show ages 21+ Tickets: $10 advance // $12 day of show ** Use venue front door for entry to this show ** DIRECTIONS: The Maywood is located inside the Raleigh beltline, right off I-40 at exit 297, Lake Wheeler Road.
