RALEIGH, N.C. — Congrats to Wilmington's Mac and Juice, who won the "Last Band Standing" competition at Lincoln Theatre on Saturday.
The show was fundraiser for Band Together NC.
Mac and Juice won $1,500 and a spot as an opening act at Band Together's annual spring concert. Last year, the B-52s headlined the show. No word on who will be headlining this year.

Mac Nelson and Brian "Juice" Raynor met in 2000 while studying classical guitar at East Carolina University. They have been writing and playing music together ever since.

The other bands who competed - Big Fat Gap, The Beast and The Deluge - each won $500.

All net proceeds from Saturday's event and the upcoming spring concert went to the Tammy Lynn Center which helps provide educational, residential, therapeutic and family support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities.
