RALEIGH, N.C. — Glenwood South nightclub Cashmere is no more.
The struggling nightclub got a makeover and name change last week courtesy of Spike TV's "Bar Rescue." The new Dual Ultra Nightclub opened its doors Saturday night.
On "Bar Rescue" nightlife expert Jon Taffer and his team redo struggling bars. They teach the bar and kitchen staff proper techniques and completely redo the menu and physical appearance of the location. He has even brought in experienced DJs to help train the house ones.

Before beginning the transformation, Taffer normally checks Yelp reviews for the bar and sends in someone to do reconnaissance. Yelp reviews for Cashmere have criticized the staff, especially the DJ who they say changes the songs just as people are getting into the music.

"Bar Rescue" production members told Out and About that DJs from Miami were flown in to work with Cashmere's DJ. They also said that the Cashmere wasn't clean when they first arrived, noting that there was human excrement on the floor.

Don't worry, crews cleaned the bar and redid the space to create a sleek nightclub/lounge that is now Dual Ultra.

Garner's Characters Quarters got the Bar Rescue makeover last week and re-launched last Friday night.

Crews with the show said they were headed to Hope Mills to redo a bar there this week. No word on which bar.
