Stroll through history on this hike featuring Durham’s first public drinking water source.   Building foundations and dams still surface in the woods, river, and creek.  Portions of the hike will be off-trail, some sections may be steep, muddy, or on rough terrain. you may want a walking stick, and sturdy shoes are a must. Time permitting, we will hike the remainder of the 1.5 mile loop. Directions:  Meet at the Pump Station Access of Eno River State Park on Rivermont Road, park near the bridge over Nancy Rhodes Creek. The address is 400 Rivermont Road, Durham, NC 27712
