Rides, games, food stands, fried everything, agricultural exhibits and much, much more make up the 2016 North Carolina State Fair, a two week festival happening on October 13-23 at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.

Tickets for the fair are $10 at the gate, but discounted tickets can be purchased online prior to the event.

Each day, there's something going on at the fair.
