While I don't know him personally I do know his product is awesome and I have no doubts that his processes are anything but top notch.

Ummm...I'm pretty sure Anita Woody (heh, heh) was just joking around. Everybody cool your jets.

Do you guys even know this guy? I do.

And I know that he is the utmost professional at what he does. As far as the beard net comment, he's serving at an open air event here, he's not actually brewing. He's offering samples!! I've been to the brewery and I've seen their process and let me assure you, there is no beard hair there at all. (insert GIANT eye roll here)

It is so easy for you to criticize people that you don't know over the internet isn't it? Why don't you actually try the product, visit the establishment and see for yourself? But you won't you'll just make blind comments via the internet.

Too bad we just couldn't talk abou the thriving craft brew market that is happening in the area and state! Or if you like or dislike the product produced by Crank - that would be a better discussion than this mans beard!

Most do. But the guy in the picture isn't if the tent falls under the same rules as in the kitchen/brewing area/restaurant. He is supposed to be wearing a beard net. It's a code from the Dept of Health. I just happened to see another brewery the other day (Trophy) on the restaurant rarings cited for being in violation for just that specific code. But they also stated "serious personal hygiene issues" which made me cringe.

I understand the sentiment, but you do realize that brewers follow applicable food safety protocols right?

I won't. On the plus side for those who do, maybe they can floss their teeth.
