Wilson, Vance, Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Halifax, Franklin, Edgecombe, Nash and Northampton counties experienced problems with 911 calls for a few hours Sunday.

In several eastern North Carolina counties, 911 telephone lines were temporarily down Sunday afternoon.
