Raleigh, N.C. — After a 911 caller alerted dispatchers to a man under duress on Grant Avenue near Chester Road Monday afternoon, several nearby apartments were evacuated while police made contact with the man.
He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, police said.
Officers responded to the 2300 block of Grant Avenue shortly after 4 p.m. and were at the scene for more than two hours.
No one was injured and no one has been charged.
