RALEIGH, N.C. — The 1990s are back - at least after this year's Rock 'n' Roll Raleigh Marathon and Half-Marathon.

Officials with the April 2 race have announced that alternative rock band Cracker will headline the post-race concert at Red Hat Amphitheater in downtown Raleigh. The concert is free and open to the public.

“Cracker will be an epic finale to race weekend,” Alex Bennett, vice president of events for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series, said. “With hit songs “Low” and “Teen Angst,” participants can celebrate their accomplishments with family and friends at our finish line festival. There is still time to register for this annual race so grab a friend and come join us this spring”

Cracker's music has been featured in various movies and TV shows including Clueless, Californication and Wolverine.

Registration is now open for the marathon and half-marathon. This year's route takes runners on a scenic tour of the city, through Oakwood and N.C. State University before finishing at Red Hat Amphitheater.
