Coglin's Raleigh, a 1980s themed bar in downtown Raleigh, is officially opening on New Year's Eve.

Coglin's is located next to The Big Easy on Fayetteville Street.

The "Totally 80s NYE" party will feature a DJ spinning 1980s tunes, fishbowls, prizes and a champagne toast at midnight. There is no cover before 10 p.m. and a $5 cover after that.
Co-owner Zack Medford, senior partner with Isaac Hunter's Hospitality, gave us a sneak peek of the place earlier this month. The project is said to have been spearheaded by the mysterious "Randy Coglin," a bartender from the 1980s.

If you go, check out their drinks named after 1980s superstars.
