Donations Help Save Wilson School

MORRISVILLE, N.C. — Parents and parishioners stepped up to save a Catholic school in Wilson.
Last week, St. Therese School announced it would close at the end of the school year. Officials blamed declining enrollment and a rising deficit.
Church members and parents offered pledges to help.
School leaders say they got enough donations to keep the school open next year. They are already working on a long-term plan.
