DURHAM, N.C. — There is an update on a Five On Your Side story about a landscaping problem.
Tim Orr contacted Five On Your Side because he paid Rick Swinarski, the owner of Carolina Landscape and Turf, an $820 deposit to fix his backyard.
When the work was not done nine months later, Swinarski agreed to refund Orr's deposit.
When Five On Your Side called Swinarski, he agreed to mail a check out by July 1, which did not happen. However the day after the story aired on WRAL last week, Swinarski got a cashier's check and sent it out.
Orr now has his refund.
