Shopping for a car can be a stressful experience, so it pays to know what brands stand out when it comes to customer satisfaction.
The Pied Piper Product Satisfaction Index ranked dealers based on the experience of mystery shoppers.
At the top: Mercedes. Mystery shoppers said the Mercedes salespeople made them feel comfortable instead of pressured, allowed them to take a thorough test drive and focuses on a few memorable features or benefits.
Acura, Infiniti and Lexus tied for second place; Jaguar took third; Honda and Toyota were among six brands that tied for fourth place. Mitsubishi and Suzuki ranked at the very bottom among dozens of brands.
