Yes, Nancy, I agree. MOST HT's are so customer friendly. I'll keep plugging along to see what happens.

I agree langley and ncsualum - HT really wants to make the customers happy and they try at every turn (with rare exception in particular stores it seems).

I think they're having a few blip issues with the ZVR's recently, it is a relatively new program and that will happen. But I trust HT to do what it takes to work it out with customers, and we don't even have to be firm or forceful :)

ncsualum09: Are we shopping at the same HT, by chance. Mine is the HT on Falls of the Neuse at Spring Forest Road. They are the best and I know they will keep trying to get this straight! Hope yours works out, as well. The phone idea is much better than printing all of the paperwork.

I agree langley! I am going to print them out as well! The CS was very nice, but he just didn't know how to do it :( I usually have the list pulled up on my smart phone just for my use as I am shopping, but (of course) my phone died while I was shopping, so I didn't have it to show him.

Thanks Nancy. You read my mind. When I went to HT, I had both the iconic version where I "saved" and the actual ZVR shopping list and showed them the error. They really tried to be helpful but I think they were a bit overwhelmed. I'm going to try again as this is a great neighborhood HT. It's not just 2-3 items, it's up to 10. I learned a valuable lesson. I will print out my ZVR's before I leave home.

You can print out your saved list of ZVR's easily.

From the ZVR page, on the right, click on "View Your Shopping List" and then click the green "Print" button on that page.

It will open up a page list view of all the saved ZVR's with all the data, including date they expire. Take this with you to the store so you have proof of what you loaded.

The CS can look up via their computer, what ZVR's you have listed, but apparently some don't know that.

ncsualum09-very similar story to mine. I am going to continue to try and solve the mystery as this little glitch costs money and time. Knowing HT, I am sure they will do their best.

  • sbigham3 Aug 15, 2011 just loaded a $1 off Skittles, Starburts, or Life Saver gummies. I bet a great deal at HT through tomorrow.

langley, I have difficulty with my ZVR's today too. I had ZVR's that were saved (I checked before I went and after I got home) that didn't come off at the register. When I asked about it the cashier referred me to the customer service desk who checked a large binder, but said he didn't know how to look them up, so I ended up just taking the items off my transaction, since I had no way to show if I had the discount or not. It was frustrating, esp since I have been HT hopping for days trying to find shelves that have not been totally wiped clear :( oh well
