Friday freebies AND giveaway!

Posted August 11, 2011

Surprise! We are doing a giveaway this week, even though it is not the first Friday of the month (when we usually have a giveaway)! This giveaway is for 2 coupons for a FREE YoCrunch Greek Yogurt, 6 oz. Each coupon has a value of up to $1.19.

Here is some info about the yogurt from the folks at YoCrunch:
“YoCrunch has introduced the first Greek yogurt with convenient mix in granola topping attached.. With 11 grams of protein and a sweeter flavor, YoCrunch’s Greek Yogurt is available in four flavors: Strawberry, Blueberry, Peach and Honey. YoCrunch Greek is an affordable $1.09 to $1.39 per six ounce container as compared to nearly $2 for brands with similar sizes. It’s the perfect choice for moms and kids who want the extra health benefits of Greek, without the tang that many yogurt fans don’t enjoy. With 3 to 6 grams more protein than traditional yogurt, it’s no wonder Greek yogurt continues to experience growth: Business Insider says Greek yogurt has grown by 100 percent, according to Business Insider.”

My husband loves Greek yogurt, so I am sure we will be trying this yogurt soon! My thanks to YoCrunch for sending the free product coupons to give away!

To enter, post something frugal you are doing this weekend in the comments section below. I will randomly chose a winner on Monday, August 15th at 4:00 PM and post the winner’s username soon after 4:00. Good luck!

You are one very impressive person! I heard you speak today at CJS and became an instant fan. When I got home I wrote to Butterball about their great turkey burgers and Dannon about their yogurt.

Went to Rite Aid and found Mentos gum at 75% off making it 0.42 each, combined that with a $1 off 3 coupon = awesome deal! Also found Pantene on clearance for $1.24!! I was so excited that I forgot to use my $1 off 2 coupon :(. Still a great deal though.

My niece's 16th Bday party was yesterday. Instead of dropping $40-$50 on a 2 tier cake that may or may not "meet her expectations" :) I made the fondant, buttercream, and cake myself. Grant you, I am NOT a cake decorator but everyone said it was the best cake they had ever eaten AND the inside of the cake was tie-dyed. Yeah, I got the "best aunt" award! lol
