Harris Teeter deals 8/3

Posted August 3, 2011

Harris Teeter has some good deals this week on milk ($2.97 per gallon!), zucchini and squash, split chicken breast, Luigi's Italian ice, Peppridge Farm cookies, Stacy's Pita chips and FREE Nature's Own honey wheat bread if you have the .75/1 printable coupon from last week!

Numerous deal sites are reporting that Harris Teeter will be super doubling starting next Wednesday, 8/10! We'll have a confirmation by Friday, but it looks very good!

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. The policy has recently changed and now states that you can only use two coupons on a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail.

Awesome! Thanks Nancy! I'll have to keep checking and see if any of them show back up!

  • Nancy Aug 4, 2011

ncsualum - you have to reload them, IF they make them available again. Many times you'll load it, use it and then see it back again for another round of use :)

    So keep checking.

With the ZVR's, I've noticed once you use them they are gone right? So one use only? Do you get new ones each week (like the evic specials?)? Or since these don't expire till 8/27 are these the ones we will have to use for SD's as well?

Msleep63- I think it is instant...I always load them right before heading to the store and they always show up!

  • msleep63 Aug 4, 2011

Does anyone know how long it takes for the evic coupons to load on your evic card once you save them?

To back up Super Doubles....a store manager bagged my groceries yesterday at the HT on Davis Drive (Morrisville). I asked him about the way the Meal Deal was packaged this week....and if that would allow coupons on each item. He confirmed that since none of the items were marketed as "free" that you could use a coupon for each item if you had one. He asked if I used coupons, and I said YES! lol He then wanted to make sure that I knew that Super Doubles would be next week.

Okay so I've been couponing since May 22, 2011 and just learned about the ZVR yesterday at 4:30pm by reading some comments here. I went to my Wednesday HT email and realized that I have neglected to click on the button "evic coupons"!! I thought I have been doing well all this time saving with almost every trip to HT. After yesterday's trip I'm hooked on "evic coupons". Knowledge is power...Thank you!!

IF your HT carries the new Kraft Mac and Cheese Veggie variety, there is a ZVR coupon for B1G1 free and currently they are on sale for 2/$3. Combined with the printable coupon for 75/1, it would be a free deal for two!

Here is the link for the coupon:
