If you're an active stockpiler, it's not as bad as you might think Nancy.

Before I started couponing, I was feeding my family for $2 per person per day, and that included paper products, cleaning supplies, personal care, dog food (and no, the dog isn't a person, he doesn't get his own $2 a day), etc, by careful stockpiling.

At present, I spend about $2 per person per day. :P We've had a baby, and diaper costs tip the scale a little, and I give away a heck of a lot of stuff that I didn't before. Still holding pretty firmly, even with prices going up, at $2 per person per day.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If couponing allows me to feed my charity addiction without costing me anymore money, I will do it forever. :D

Anytime you can get bacon under $2 - it's a good deal.

I'm so used to shopping sale prices with coupons the regular prices often shock me when I happen to look at the shelf tags! Holy Moly! How can people afford groceries and personal care items at regular prices, or even sale prices without coupons??? It would KILL any person's budget!

I had .50/1 for the Eggland's best so I got them for .58/dozen.

Nancy-yes its a shame especially since its on sale if it would've doubled the bacon would've been 1.20 instead of 1.85 still a good price and since its about to expire i might as well use them!!

"Also I had the same issue with butterball bacon coupon it has the new bar coding with no '5' and it said no doubling so they wouldn't do it!" - yesseniam

Wow, that's twice I've read that the new barcode is auto-reading the do not double! Yikes, this is going to really make us work harder to get the deals!

Faye I got a 1 dollar off of Bailey's creamer, but when I went to pay it did not scan correctly. I read the article about price scan the night before so I went customer service and I got a full refund on both!!

Also I had the same issue with butterball bacon coupon it has the new bar coding with no '5' and it said no doubling so they wouldn't do it!

katie - was the Starbucks Fusions coffee included in that eVic deal? I didn't think it was! If it is, that's totally awesome as I got starbucks and have two of those IP's for the Fusion.

I had $5.99 on 12 oz. Starbucks coffee. I added the $1.50 IP coupon and got the best deal I've ever had on Starbucks! Got the oreos too. Vanilla Iced coffee with double stuft oreos, mmmmm!
