For those of you going to get the $.88 salad this weekend, check your receipts. I was told today that many of them are ringing up incorrectly.

Also, the Lowes in Apex was out of the presidente Feta crumbles. Instead of giving me a rain check, the manager actually let me buy the Athenos brand and gave it to me for what the price would have been with the sale plus coupon on the other brand. This was particularly good since I was planning to use the Feta in a couple days and I really don't want to go back out in this heat.

So excited, I just got my 4 boxes of .10 cereal at the 42/50 Lowes store!

  • Nancy Jul 21, 2011

Ok, I'm going to venture out in this heat (which I HATE) and head to Lowes - have my Smart Balance rain check and a couple coupons for that and will pick up the chicken and cereal if they have it. If not, more rain checks :)

    Checklist to go:

~ double layer of deodorant > CHECK!

    ~ sunglasses > CHECK!

~ air conditioning in car working > CHECK!

~ cooler for cold stuff from store > CHECK!

~ said prayers for those who have to work outside in this heat > CHECK!

boysjog - RP means Red Plum, one of the companies who puts coupon inserts into the Sunday papers :)

  • boysjog Jul 20, 2011

I'm a bit ignorant: what does RP stand for in regard to the cereal coupon? Thanks!

smallone - thank you so much! Here's me smiling :-)

You should have hollered at me! I bet you didn't find any Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal - LOL. ;-)

So, I finished up the HT deals and headed over to Lowes to score some Kellogg's Crunchy Nut cereal for 10 cents each and guess what.....out of stock. That will teach me to work before going to the store when there is a great deal! lol

The cust. serv mgr said they had been flying off the shelves all morning. Of course, I did get a rain check and will go back when the truck gets in later this week. As Nancy pointed out, the coupon expiration date isn't until late August, so we have plenty of time for them to restock before the coupon expires. If you get a rain check - make sure they indicate that you also get $4 off at the register when you buy 4.

I did get everything else on my list including 2 big value packs of the chicken breast at $1.67/lb (already put in the freezer), LF banana popsicles BOGO for $1.10 (only 40 cal and no fat so a much healthier treat than the Luigi's), hummus, tomatoes, cukes, salmon burgers and more.

Faye- I was going in Lowes at 42/50 today while you were leaving, I just wanted to let you know you look AMAZING! I haven't seen you since June of last year. Just thought I'd add a smile to your day.

Ok. I was about to go hop in the car and head to the nearest Lowes! LOL! Still a good price, but I'll wait until I get off work.
