nhouseecu09 - I'm getting ready to order from Zenni Optical as well and would be interested in how you like your new glasses when you get your new pair. Also what style did you choose?

lcarpenter, I refuse to try to use coupons at WM, it's a gamble every time depending on who handles the purchase whether they know policy and that includes, many times, store managers and shift managers :(

Beware of the Walmart in the New Hope Commons shopping center in Durham, NC. They will would not accept the $4/2 Advil coupons or $1/2 Lysol coupons that came with the Sunday newspaper, even though have had Walmart's coupon policy in my hand. Manager and cashier laughed in my face! Not happy. Called corporate to complain all they did was have another manager at that store call to apologize.

jz, when you talk to Kia, just tell them you can get it shipped for $106.00 and since you can get a better deal out of state on the price of the part, that's what you'll do :) Shipping is not a factor if the local place won't meet the price.

Like you said, same price when shipping is included, which tells you that their profit margin locally is higher than the place online :)

If they want the business, they'll give you a price break at a minimum, and if they REALLY want your business, they'll match that $106 price. I would not ask for a discount by a specific %, just as them if they can price match the $106 you can get online, if not tell them that's a shame, you can do better elsewhere than local.

Nancy, the best price I found was $106 + shipping, compared to $124 equals no savings. I'll work on Kia this afternoon, see if I can get them to knock off 10-15%. The world needs you Nancy...I need you!

jz, hubby says call the 800 # on those sites, get the prices for all you need, then call the local places and see if they'll price match (ask to speak with Gen Mgr if parts guy won't bend) My hubby has done that for a long time.

His argument is he can get better prices out of state and he can't be loyal to a local business if they aren't willing to help. As a result, he has a permanent discount rate at one Toyota dealership for parts :)

Thanks for the lead Nancy. None of these sites seem to have both parts to the speed sensor. I'll call a few today to be sure. I did find them on ebay, but hubby doesn't trust overseas shipments, so I might be stuck paying...FULL RETAIL PRICE! FRP is a bad, bad word in my household.

Stopped at the Marathon convenient store in Lumberton, NC and they had coupons for .75 cents off any one V8 beverage (12oz. or less). The coupon states DND, but it starts with a "5". Hopefully, all the Marathon stores carry these coupons.
