Great job on the costumes, des!

That's such a thoughtful idea, marybeth. I am sure they would love to receive the handmade clutches as gifts.

And yes - please e-mail any cow pictures to me and I will post them!

My kids and I went to Chick fil a for lunch- it was packed! Couldn't help but chuckle at the grown men with cow hooves, ears and tails on, even after they'd eaten. Our costumes were MUCH simpler: black tshirts with white spots on them that I made from cutting up old 3.5" floppy disk labels (Avery brand, that go through printers). Since floppies are obsolete, I figured I had nothing to lose by cutting up the labels. And we got about $16 worth of lunch for free!

I got the clutch pattern ... I think this would be great to use at one of our Girl Scout meetings ... maybe we could make enough for some nursing home residents at Christmas! (Assuming the girls get into crochet!)
