Coupon insert preview 7/10

Posted July 7, 2011

There will be 2 coupon sections this Sunday including a RedPlum section and a SmartSource section.

Click HERE for a preview of the specific coupons we will probably have in our inserts.  Although some of these coupons may be a little different than the ones we receive, most will be the same.

Some of my favorites include:

General Mills 4.5oz+ Sweet ‘n’ Salty Chex Mix $.50/1 (expires 9/3)

Smart Balance popcorn $.75/1 (expires 8/24)

Kellogg’s Special K multigrain oats & honey, Frosted Mini-Wheats touch of fruit in the middle, Rice Krispies gluten free, Crunchy Nut or Kellogg’s Fiber Plus caramel pecan crunch cereal 10.8 oz or larger Save $.70/1 (expires 8/21) - I really hope we get this one because we will get a great deal when these cereals go on sale BOGO and the coupon is doubled!

I hope this will get to everyone - I have a friend that give me left over coupons from the news paper every week. I would like to share them with other parents that like to save money at the food store or even at other places. If you are in the Four Oaks/Smithfield area I would like to see if anyone would like a stack of coupons. I work in Raleigh and pass by 40/42 most every day going home. Please e-mail me at bonnie1967@earthlink.net - I will be sending the exp. coupons over sea to the family that can us them.

Did anyone notice the Noxema $2 shaver coupon expires 7/17! That means it's only good for one week.

Must be true that the manufacturers are intent on stopping the sale of coupons on the internet - there is no turnaround time for those at all.

We can thank those who have caused massive increases in coupon use in specific markets for that :( You know, the people who buy huge volumes of coupons and then redeem them en masse.

The manufacturers plan on a certain percentage being redeemed, but with the sale of coupons of high value, they're seeing 2 and 3 times the level of redemption anticipated and it's costing them much more than anticipated. So they either cut the value or cut the dates way down.

We can expect to see more of this I'm afraid.

Hope we get the Airwick $4 coupons, they will be B1G1 at Rite Aid this coming week and that could be a great deal! Plus the $1 Video Value coupon to match with that deal.
