Harris Teeter deals 6/29

Posted June 29, 2011

Harris Teeter has some great deals this week on peaches, butter, Goldfish crackers, Franks hot sauce, French's spicy brown mustard, Lipton tea bags, Carefree liners and more!

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. The policy has recently changed and now states that you can only use two coupons on a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail.

Faye, has HT changed their policy in the last week about BOGO items ringing up half price? It may just be an issue with the Frank's Red Hot Sauce, but at two different HT's in the Chapel Hill area, they're ringing up full price, then it's taking the price of one off (not ringing up half price each). This is causing an issue with them using 2 coupons and being able to double them. They had to manually enter one of the coupons today and adjust the $0.50 coupon down to $0.19 and double it that way since the first coupon doubled full value.

momboozer, last b2g3 chips at HT, I bought all 5, then put the ones I wouldn't be using in the donation box. I will probably be purchasing all 5 again this time, but instead of donating the ones that wont be eaten by us, I think I'm going to have a big cookout with them and all the cheap hot dogs I've been putting in the freezer lately! A trip to the bread store for $.89 day-old rolls, free mustard and ketchup from the stash (I refuse to call it a stockpile so I'm not likened to THOSE people on TV, lol) and $.25 brownie mix from super triples for a brownie trifle with frugal berries..b2g3 cokes, and I'll make some potato salad with some fresh-dug new potatoes my father-in-law gave me..i think I can do it for less than $25 OOP for 15-20 people!

The Breyer's Blasts are included in the $2.50 price. With $1 cpns printed last week that makes it $1.50. The Blast flavors are awesome.

Faye - My math shows cokes being $2.56 each with the B2G3. Not that .08 makes that much of a difference.

I would not have a problem buying 5 12pks. of coke but I don't really need 5 bags of chips. $1.99 B1G1 at Lowes as opposed to $1.67 at HT. HT is cheaper but do I want to get that many??

I agree Batey 3...really weird since they are new! The 2 HT's here have disc. them as of last week. HS Lowes Foods is always out of them too!

Breakstones Zesty Blends do not come in a lighter version. I recently had a Breakstones Party for them and it was GR8 to sample them!

The HT at 401/1010 says that they have discontinued the Breakstones Dip and Zesty Blends sour cream. We were able to grab one of each there on Wed. but when I tried to get rain checks that's when they told me this. Weird.

tea bags can be frozen and stored, like forever. I several boxes in my freezer. Coffee too. :D

knowles, they take a long time from some stores, shorter for others. Since SStar has to wait for the upload of data from the stores, it depends on that store cycle for when it's done.

My Kroger took a long time too!

Does anyone have trouble with their saving star coupons being added to your account when you use your VIC card? I have bought a few items at HT (some as far back as June, 11th), that have never shown up as redeemed. My Food Lion ones are added within a week or so, but I've never had any of them show up from my VIC card. I tried re-entering my card number to see if I had entered it wrong, but it says that card is already registered. Just didn't know if anyone else's ever show up and about how long they usually take.

Pampers $5.99 for select e-vic members. I had MQ plus an evic coupon $1.50 off ( total 4.50 in coupons) 2 packs of pull ups for $7.50. Too bad the limit was 2 per household.
