Found a deal this weekend? Here's the place to share it!

I hope you all have a great weekend! I am looking forward to meeting the folks at the Wake Tech class in the morning and spending some family time with the hubby and kids on Sunday! Did I mention the little stop at Harris Teeter after the class in Cary tomorrow?! ;-)

tldavids...I am sorry. I did not make myself clear but yes you do have to purchase the "Big Deal" items in quanties of 10...so 10, 20 or 30 and 30 is the maximum allowed in one transaction. HTH and again I am sorry for the confusion! You still did good! Be proud! That was a huge savings!

tldavids, when you see those sales at grocery stores where they specify you have to buy XXX number of items to get $/off - they never prorate :( BUT, having said that, you can always find the really inexpensive items they include and meet your requirements that way and still save a chunk of change to hit that discount they apply :)

But you did great on the laundry detergents and now you're stocked up and can sit back and wait for another great sale with coupon match ups to back fill that stash :)

    reneebmomof3,

I just got 10 more of the All detergents from Foodlion for $1.49 and got 5 of the Surfs also for $1.49. BTW, you really do have to get at least 30 items to get the $15 off. I thought they prorated it but NOT! missed out on $5 because I only got 28 Big Deal items! boo hoo! But got $225 worth of stuff for only $94. Not great but better than I did before shopping deals and using coupons. *smile*

The Fuquay Kroger has a cart of Bush's Grillin' beans on clearance for $.50/ can and a cart of Kraft Catlina, Thousand Island, and some Zesty Italian salad dressing also for $.50/bottle. If you haven't already used your $1/2 Kraft coupon at HT (and you really like Catalina or Thousand Island) then you can get some free salad dressing. The carts are at the front of the store before the registers.

At FL you can get the 40 load Surf laundry detergent for $1.49 each! They are regularly priced at $5.99 but on sale for $2.99. They are part of the "Big Deal" promotion so you can deduct another $.50 off each one so long as you buy at least 10 "Big Deal" items which brings it down to $2.49 plus use the $1/1 coupon that came out a few weeks ago makes them $1.49 each. I even price checked Walmart and they are $4.77 there so a great deal if you like this kind...BTW...couldn't find any that said HE :(
