The LAST Wednesday weigh-in!

Great news everyone! This is the LAST Wednesday weigh-in! I bet you can guess why......

Yep - As of yesterday, I reached my goal of 25 lbs lost!

For those of you new to the Wednesday Weigh-In, I issued a challenge back in February  to anyone who wanted to lose some weight. My goal was to lose 25 lbs before my 25th high school reunion taking place this summer.

I am so impressed with all of you who took the challenge and shared your success stories and challenges. I am also very grateful to all of you for your support and encouragement to me and all the other folks participating.

I still have a little more to lose and I imagine you'll see my progress in the monthly blog videos and noon news segments in the coming months. I wish you all the best in your continued weight loss goals and in keeping off the weight (always my biggest struggle).

I would love for you to post how much you lost during the challenge as well. Thanks again to everyone who posted during these last 4 months!

    Although U didn't start when you guys did because I didn't realize it was happening, I have lost 20 lbs in the last couple of months. I eat during the day but very, very little after about 4pm. Just not hungry. PLUS I have lived off blueberries & strawberries since April! lol

    Btw, CONGRATS, Faye! You did awesome to reach your goal!

    I lost 12 pounds during the challenge...but had a very bumpy road with exercise so I am happy with the loss. Got another 40lbs to go and I hope to get there by next summer.

    Congrats Brassy on your pregnancy!

    Brassy - Congratulations on your pregnancy! Sounds like your weight loss should be stalled for a while. :-)

    Total - you looked great this morning. What are you talking about?

    intocoupons - I took a very sensible and sustainable approach. I eat less and exercise more. I have been averaging about 1200 - 1500 calories a day of lean proteins, high fiber carbs and lots of veggies. I am working out (treadmill or walking in the neighborhood and some light lifting) about 3-4 days a week. I'd like to exercise more but have not had the time. I am not using a formal weight loss plan. Good luck to you!

    Congrats Faye! I just started posting a couple weeks ago but I also started loosing back in February, 30 down :). I got 20 more to go and I will be happy!

    Congrats, Faye! I think I lost 8-9lbs during the challenge. I found out why I've been struggling - baby getting a sibling. I still plan to keep eating healthy and exercising.

    Me on the other hand...I'm reaching for the Xtra large safety pins! LOL

    So proud of all of you for dropping those pounds. I'm going to miss reading this every week. =)
