Harris Teeter deals 6/15

Posted June 15, 2011

At Harris Teeter this week you will find good deals on spinach, cucumbers, split chicken breast, Buitoni pasta, Magnum ice cream bars, Ritz Crackerfuls, Sunsweet prunes, Kellogg's Corn Pops and more!

Harris Teeter Coupon Policy Basics:

Doubles coupons .99 or less everyday

Doubles up to 20 coupons per day

Doubles up to 3 identical coupons (must have required product to go with each coupon)

BOGO sales ring up at half price. If you just buy one, it still rings up at half price. The policy has recently changed and now states that you can only use two coupons on a BOGO deal. So, if you buy 2 items that are BOGO, you can use two coupons (which is a very good thing!).

Senior discount: Seniors 60 and older receive a 5% discount every Thursday. Discount applies after coupons are deducted.

e-coupons: Don’t forget to add the e-coupons to your Harris Teeter VIC card and remember, you can stack the e-coupons with manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. The link to your e-coupons are in your Wednesday e-Vic e-mail.

E-Vic deals this week: Coca-Cola 6 pack, .5 liter $1.88, limit 1

Meal Deal this week is $5.99 for the following:
Ball Park beef franks
Nature’s Own hot dog buns
Lipton Tea 1 gallon
Lays chips 10-10.5 oz
There is a coupon for .75/2 Ball Park products from 6/5 RP, but you would have to buy 2 hot dog packages to use it)
With sales and coupons on the individual items, you would probably pay about $6 for all of the items and if you can add a frugal veggie (like carrots), you will have a meal for $6.50.

melodie1920 thank you so much! I am going to try that at my HT this weekend!

I believe the only way to make any money on a product is pairing a manufacturer coupon with a e-coupon. On my receipt it took off the $0.55 e-coupon first and then my $0.50 coupon doubled, making me 5 cents. I was at the Harris Teeter on Edwards Mill, but I believe that will work in any Harris Teeter when you pair a paper manufacturer coupon with an e-coupon. I read about that up here once and I have been trying to pair my e-coupons with my paper coupons.

To go along with dollarbcent's comment, does anyone know what stores will do overages? I went to LF one day and had 2 .75/1 coupons for w.sauce, it was on sale for 1.06. One Q doubled and the other didn't. I asked CS about it and she said the computer will catch it and not let it double. So what if I had one .75/1 Q and the product is 1.00, I should get it for free but if the Q will not double I still have to pay .25 and the Q policy says it will double. Still learning, just made myself remember I was confused about this. lol :)

melodie1920 what HT do you shop at? I'm in Durham and the one by me doesn't have money makers. They only discount up to the price of the item, not over. If there is a HT that pays overage around here I want in!

Cheerios are on sale B1G1 and there is an e-coupon to get $0.50 off and there were printable coupons a while back for $0.50 making the Cheerios free. I got 2 boxes, because I had to e-coupons one for $0.50 off and one for $0.55 off. The $0.55 off one helped make it a money maker!

There is an Oral-B toothbrush 2/$3 and with the .75 coupon from P&G mailer, it was free!

Also, those with gluten allergies, the gluten free waffles are on clearance for $1.49. Great savings since they are normally almost $4!!

Heh, I got a wink and a nod from CS today about SD.

Thanks ecupurplhze! I just posted about super doubles before I saw your message. Chet (a local couponer) also confirmed super doubles on savvydollar.org so looks like it is on!

HappyGirl - I don't think any HT's will take internet printed competitors coupons. Most will only take competitors coupons for a total off your total order (like $4 off a $20 purchase) not a comp. coupon for a specific item.

Great deal on the PB, oxy!

The manager at my HT has confirmed that super doubles will start 6/22!
