Kroger deals 6/12

Posted June 13, 2011

At Kroger this week there are good deals on peaches, mangoes, tomatoes, cantaloupe and chicken breast. There is also a new Mega Event: buy 5 participating products and get $5 off at the register.

Kroger Coupon Policy Basics

Doubles coupons up to .50

Many Kroger stores only allow 2 identical coupons per day (check with your store about their limits)

No total limits of coupons doubled per day

Senior Citizen’s Day on Tuesday’s: If you are born on or before 1954, receive a 5% discount on total grocery bill (excludes alcohol, tobacco and prescriptions)

Kroger digital e-coupons can be found at the link in the box above. You cannot couple a digital coupon with a paper coupon at Kroger. If you have a digital coupon loaded to your card, the register will automatically deduct it and will not allow you to use the paper coupon. Digital coupons do not double.

Fuel Rewards: Save up to $1 per gallon at Kroger gas stations when you redeem up to 1000 fuel points. Save 10 cents per gallon at participating Shell when you redeem 100 fuel points. For more information on the fuel rewards, Click HERE.

PLUS, from 6/1/11 – 6/18/11, earn 4X fuel points when you buy gift cards.

Mega Event: Buy 5 participating products and get $5 off at the register! Basically, you get $1 off each item instantly when you check out. The ad only shows a few items but there are always more good deals in the store. Feel free to post any you find. Here are some of the participating items from the ad. grkmiley - just don't load (or if you can, unload) the digital coupon before you go shopping. The default is to take the digital coupon discount first by the register.

What if I have a better paper coupon than the electronic coupon on my kroger card? Can I refuse the electronic coupon in order to use my paper coupon? Has anyone tried this?

Does Kroger not triple up to $.39 in Raleigh?

I know that Kroger's policy regarding paper and e coupons have recently changed, and that's been a real bummer. I'm just not sure why and why HT AND Lowes Foods continue to allow customers to use both.

Kathryn, The Kroger policy is very clear about not allowing the use of ecoupons and paper coupons for the same item. They changed their registers recently to prevent doubling up of these manufacturer coupons. I know there are some great deals to be had doing this, but it is against their policy. I love a great deal like the rest but I encourage everyone to coupon within the policies so the stores continue to offer the doubling and other wonderful promotions.

I am definitely not trying to be a deal downer Kathryn, just wanted to share the policy since you may not be aware of it.

    You are welcome greenfamily! :-)

A note about the e-coupns policy: I don't know if they have changed the policy or I am getting lucky, but I give my paper coupons first, then do my plus card, and it takes both. This has gotten me some AMAZING deals!
