Please remind your followers that they must use coupons for the actual product on the coupon. Yesterday a nice lady tried to use a Gain Detergent/Faric Softener coupon on the Gain Dishwashing Liquid offer. I had to politely explain it was not for the same product. She said she had gotten the tip-off on it from this blog.

Thank you for the helping all of us with our couponing. Cashiers are very happy to be able to offer their products at discounts, and can often be a good source for finding good deals throughout their store.

Also, be aware that Rite Aid has recently updated their coupon policy on the Buy-One-Get-One-Free promotions. They no longer accept Buy-One-Get-One-Free manufacturer coupons in conjuntion with the Buy-One-Get-One-Free promotion. Cents/Dollars-Off coupons are still accepted though,so there are still very good savings available.

    Thanks again. =0

Eeeeek - must re-plan my Rite Aid spending this week - have $20 in +UPs expiring on the 18th!

  • t0tAlChA0s Jun 12, 2011

Not your fault Faye =) just one of those things. There are plenty more deals out there to be had!

How crazy that they have now started doing more regional ads. Sorry about the Lysol not being included in our local ad - I'll take it off the main list now.

  • Nancy Jun 12, 2011

Ok, for the first time ever, the national RA ad scan that shows the Lysol is obviously NOT included in regional areas. You don't have it in Raleigh and up here in northern NY it was not included in their ad either :( I was bummed too, the coupon was in the insert but somebody screwed up somewhere....maybe one of the other drug stores will have a deal on it next week?

I don't see the Healthy Touch in the sale paper. Has anyone found this on sale and where?

  • t0tAlChA0s Jun 12, 2011

Lysol Healthy Touch is not on sale in Clayton Rite Aid...I just could not pay $12 for it.

Faye, I love the Lysol soap dispenser. My kids are old enough to not over it on the soap. I love the convenience of not having to soil the soap dispenser with just handled raw meat hands, and then I have to wash off the soap dispenser. I was concerned that I'd set it off trivially and have a pool of soap on the counter, but that really hasn't happened. I've only accidentally triggered it once, and I did pass too close to it.

Instead of waving my hand by it like a mad person, as happens to me in automated bathrooms all the time, I just extend my hand near the bottom and move it up slowly. Never fails, and when it does start failing it will mean I need to change the batteries. :D

And at that price, a whole lot cheaper than buying even the soap unit for refill :)

Kind of like the $9.99 razors, cheaper to buy them at 99 cents than to buy the refill cartridges LOL

Yes, I'm hitting Rite Aid and Walgreens today up here in northern NY - should be fun! Now, I just have to wonder if EC has taken over up here too - last year they had everything in stock for sales...seemed no one did couponing seriously. May have changed? We shall see!

You can refill those Lysol No Touch hand systems. That is what I have been doing for a while. Just pop the lid off and refill with any liquid soap. Even donated one to my lil one's class at school! I love mine Faye. Little ones never use to much soap anymore.
