    good idea oxymoron!

queene, sometimes I rather prefer walking out with rainchecks to walking out with product. It makes utilizing the randomly emailed during poor sale weeks $5 off $25 CVS coupons much easier. :D

didn't have a good shopping trip at CVS today- They were completely out of the Ban deo (did get a rain check though :) ) also bought crest pro health rinse, but it was a different flavor so they didn't give me the 2.50ECB back- I was able to return it though. Only walked out with toothpaste :( boooo

chipper4800, where can i get a coupon for free joh fredia???

  • bjones2 Jun 6, 2011

On the Lays snacks limit 5? Does that mean I can get 3/1 five times or 15 bags?

  • Nancy Jun 4, 2011

chipper, yes, as long as you 'buy' the product (they ring it up prior to coupon) and then you hand them the coupon to get it free, you have met their obligation to purchase the product to get the ECB's. All you will pay is sales tax.

    Hi Fanoftheheels, welcome to couponing!

ECB = Extra Care Buck, the reward/rebate program that CVS offers. For all the details on how ECB's work, read my article here:

    http://www.wral.com/5onyourside/smartshopper/blogpost/7004999/

I also recommend you click on the Smart Shopper box at the top of this page. That will bring you to the home page of the Smart Shopper blog. Under the 2nd blog post from the top, you will see 5 boxes. One is for Price Book, one is for the drug store rebate programs, one is for the grocery store coupon policies, one is for abbreviations and one is for meal planning. I recommend you read them to get a good grasp on the lingo we use on this blog and the policies for the stores whose deals I post.

Thanks for reading the blog! - Faye
